What is The Blands
Pop-Novel?

The Blands twist, adapt, combust and occasionally triumph as they’re pelted with comments from lovers, haters, the trolls and the baiters. Digital grenades fly, incendiary comments ignite and while the rest of us cower behind our screens, the Blands wade through the rubble. Because in this world, everyone believes they’re owed their fifteen minutes… and preferably someone else’s too.

 

“Oh, I totally get it.. I know the Blands.” But do we ever truly know anyone through curated feeds, filtered smiles, and the occasional livestream meltdown? What’s behind the Blands? What’s behind the performance? What’s their need to be seen?

 

That tension… The gap between the real and the performance… is where the humour lives, and where the very sharpest blade is still a cutting comment. 

 

What’s all this got to do with music anyway? 

 

The Blands, it’s a hysterical mirror held up to the noise, the nonsense, and the never-ending splash of online life.
